ACE Refrigeration is currently on site at Fáilte Foods where they are responsible for the design, supply and installation of a Freezer Room.
Previously we were responsible for a large Freezer Room and Cold Rooms at Fáilte’s Glasgow base.
The footprint of this project is 19.964m².
ACE has also installed a Temperature Monitoring System for the Freezer Room.
This allows for the effective energy management of the entire system, and also helps to increase the control and reporting capabilities for the end user in an easy to use way, giving staff increased control.
All controls are networked via an IP control system to a central temperature monitoring system.
This management system ensures that all aspects of the refrigeration are monitored on a continual basis.
The use of this controller also help clients who come to ACE Refrigeration for their refrigeration systems further reduce running costs by at least 10%; ensuring the entire system always operates at peak performance, reducing energy costs and pinpointing any potential issues before they become a problem, as well as allowing remote access to monitor the entire system from afar.
From January 2015 revised F-Gas regulations apply.
This regulation legislates against high GWP (Global Warming Potential) HFC refrigerants, specifically those refrigerants with a GWP greater than 2500, this includes the commonly used refrigerant R404a which has a GWP of 3900.
With the life-cycle of these high GWP refrigerants now ending in 2020 we have selected a reduced GWP refrigerant for this project – we have selected R407F refrigerant which has a GWP of 1825.
